Today I went to the lunch and learn held in the CXL in the commons. This week was focused on the idea of sustainability regarding the production and consumption of clothing and other textile materials. We primarily focused on fast fashion sites such as Shein, Aliexpress, etc. A woman from the schools (or town–I can’t remember which one it was at this moment)  sustainability office presented us with an educational slideshow and videos to start a discussion. I contributed ideas regarding greenwashing and brands who try to appear to be sustainable and how dangerous that can be.
